Great Day at Sea

On Sunday Colleen's Uncle Bob and Aunt Linda took us out on their boat, the Nautical Smile. The weather was great and so were the sights. Not only did we see plenty of sea lions, and the dolphins were swimming off the bow but we were especially lucky because we literally came upon 2 blue whales. We saw them in front of us, then after disappearing for a few seconds, the smaller one swam right under the boat and popped up right off of the stern. It was incredible, we even got fluked! The one was getting a little too friendly so we slowly moved away to prevent any type of accidents. The day was amazing, and we are extremely thankful to Uncle Bob and Aunt Linda for taking us out for the day!
